The banner year for Massachusetts talk-show hosts continues apace as mild-mannered Mitt Romney gets involved in a high-flying throwdown on a flight from the Vancouver Olympics.
Romney, who was sitting next to his wife, Ann, asked the man in front of his wife, who had dropped his seat back, to move the seat upright during takeoff, said Eric Fehrnstrom, spokesman for the former Republican presidential candidate.
“The passenger became physically violent,” Fehrnstrom said in a statement. “Gov. Romney did not retaliate, but instead allowed the airline crew to respond to the incident.”
The Romneys were reportedly sitting in the coach (!) section of the Air Canada flight. And you know how unruly those Canucks can get during curling season.
Or maybe it was Kevin Smith, still smarting over his treatment on a previous flight.
