More than 17,000 people plan to eat at Papa John’s today, rallying in support of the maligned CEO John Schnatter, who has come under attack for speaking out about how Obamacare will hurt his business.
There’s been a lot of hate heaped on company leaders who have had the chutzpah to point out how the Obama health law is forcing them to make painful cuts, especially when it comes to labor.
But the heated debate has missed the most important point: that the health law’s new requirements hurt not only CEOs but also the low-income, hard-working people they employ. That’s one way to equality of the classes.
