Krauthammer's Take: Administration 'Redacted the Truth' from Benghazi Talking Points
Charles Krauthammer continues to insist that the president, above all others, bears responsibility for the Benghazi scandal. While others yesterday focused on Jay Carney’s misleading responses to reporters’ questions, Krauthammer turned the conversation back to the president. There is no way around the fact that the administration, with the president’s approval, “redacted the truth” from the Benghazi talking points and misled the American people in the aftermath of the attack.
“It’s not about Jay Carney,” Krauthammer said, ”He the is the spokesman for the President of the United States. Everybody is saying Jay misled, Jay did this — he is the spokesperson. He on behalf of the president he told these serious untruths. That is the reason he had the trouble.”
