After a quiet spring, Mitt Romney is returning to the campaign trail. According to WMUR’s James Pindell, the former Republican nominee will stump for the state GOP in Wolfeboro, N.H., next month.
“Romney will attend a fundraiser somewhere in the Lakes Region on August 6,” Pindell reports. “Organizers say the event will have two tiers of ticketing, the small of the two beginning around $100 each.”
Romney’s close friends say they don’t expect him to run for elected office again. But Romney did host a donor retreat in Utah in June, and his event in New Hampshire will certainly make politicos wonder whether he’s truly retired.
