Gowdy Accuses the Obama Administration of 'Changing Names, Creating Aliases' of Benghazi Survivors
Representative Trey Gowdy (R., S.C.) said yesterday evening during On the Record with Greta Van Sustern that the Obama administration is trying to hide the survivors of the Benghazi attack by giving them new names and aliases.
After host Greta Van Sustern complained that Fox News had been unable to track down the Benghazi survivors, Gowdy told her that “[the administration is] changing names, creating aliases.”
“So, you stop and think what things are most calculated to get at the truth?” he continued. “Talk to people with first-hand knowledge. What creates the appearance and perhaps the reality of a cover-up? Not letting us talk with people who have the most amount of information, dispersing them throughout the country and changing their names.”
