Congress does not know the full extent of the National Security Agency’s (NSA) digital surveillance, Senator Bob Corker said Sunday morning.
Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Corker told host Chris Wallace that he doubts that even those on the intelligence committees fully understand how the NSA is operating.
“The American people want to know that those of us who are elected — [Representative Eliot Engel] and I — understand what’s happening here,” Corker said. “I don’t think we do. I would imagine there’re even members of the intelligence committee themselves that don’t fully understand the gamut of things that are taking place.”
