Alec, Iowa isn’t the only state that has an insurer with low Obamacare enrollment numbers.
CareSource, an insurer based in Dayton, Ohio, told the Columbus Dispatch that it has had Ohioans successfully enroll in its plans. In fact, it has enrollees from six different regions of the Buckeye State with “double-digit” enrollment to date.
Ohio is one of 33 states that are defaulting to the federal health-care exchange rather than setting up their own. Administration officials said earlier this week that the federal government will not release Obamacare enrollment numbers until November.
