Jeopardy Features ‘Farther Left than Barack Obama’ Category
On Wednesday night’s episode of the well known game show Jeopardy!, one of the Double Jeopardy categories referenced President Obama’s leftism.
Under the category “Farther Left than Barack Obama,” contestants were asked to name the well-known figure standing to the left of Barack Obama in a picture as seen from the viewer’s perspective. The “answers” featured figures generally regarded as political opposites of Obama, including Republican governor Rick Perry of Texas, Conservative U.K. prime minister David Cameron, and Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
When the picture of Obama and Perry was displayed, Jeopardy host Alex Trebek said, “He has something in common with Obama: Both took over their jobs from George W. Bush . . . and that’s about it.”
