Advertising executive and Morning Joe regular Donny Deutsch thinks Obamacare is so damaged that he wouldn’t have his firm take the job to try and repair its image. Comparing it to a movie bombing on its opening weekend, Deutsch said on Wednesday that Americans have “soured” so much on the law that public trust and interest may be impossible to regain.
“It’s been so tarnished that I don’t know how you put the genie back in the bottle,” he said. “I think that the perception right now is so damaged that I don’t know if he ever comes back from it.”
Deutsch, an avid supporter of the law, suggested that the administration could regain some credibility by fulfilling its promise to Americans that they could keep their plans if they wanted to.
