The College Board Keeps Inflating the Bubble

by George Leef

In this week’s Pope Center Clarion Call, I take a look at “Education Pays 2010,” the most recent paper from the College Board’s Advocacy and Policy Center. It tries to deflect criticism from those of us who contend that higher education has been oversold, and it puts a big smiley face on the notion that going to college is good for just about everyone — and the notion that college-for-all is good for the country. The effort is unpersuasive.
