We Can Learn Much from Educators’ Conferences

by George Leef

I highly recommend this essay by Robert Holland on Minding the Campus. He writes about various conferences at which zealous teachers and professors share stories about how best to indoctrinate students in diversity, social justice, etc. The existence of these conferences reminds us that substantial numbers of academics see their jobs as those of “change agents,” and they are eager to use their classrooms to push their misty-eyed visions of society.
