Christie Takes On Rapacious Educational Execs

by Candace de Russy

Let it be known.

In a no-holds-barred, damn-the-torpedoes speech, N.J. governor Chris Christie has told administrators in the public-school establishment — those who put their own ”greed and arrogance” above their duty to taxpayers and the nation — to go “packing.”

Christie has turned his guns on, as Bryan Preston observes, “a target-rich environment.”

To focus on similar greed and arrogance within higher-education administration cannot be far behind. Governor Christie, are you listening?
