A Dean’s Perspective on Core Curriculum, New Media

In this week’s episode of, host Andy Nash speaks with Christian Brady, dean of the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University.

This is a unique interview for us, as we’re speaking with someone firmly entrenched within the “academic echo chamber,” and so this episode is particularly illuminating because I think Brady’s perspective is likely to be similar to many of the dons leading peer institutions.

Andy and Brady speak on life as a dean at a major research university, differing perspectives on core curriculum, and conflicting takes on the impact of social media among students.
