News emerged yesterday that a senior administrator at Claremont McKenna College has been reporting inflated SAT scores for the last seven years. The SAT average is one of the key variables that goes into calculating the venerable U.S. News and World Report college rankings each year. Currently, Claremont McKenna is ranked ninth in the nation among liberal-arts colleges.
