‘Academic Pogrom’ at Harvard

Stephen Plaut blasts the university’s decision to hold a pseudo-academic conference dedicated, in effect, to advocacy of Israel’s destruction.

Plaut gives a scathing review of the views and backgrounds of the participants in this upcoming “genteel campus pogrom,” notably Ilan Pappe, “who is arguably the most thoroughly discredited pseudo-academic on the planet.”

This cabal will call for a bi-national state with an Islamist Arab majority in charge — and thus the annihilation of Israel.

Plaut compares what he calls this “Destroy Israel” conference to Harvard’s shocking, extensive ”coddling” of anti-Semites and Nazis in the 1930s.

As I note on academeblog.org, Plaut and others have called for Harvard to ban this conference from campus. Does Candace de Russy (and other writers at Phi Beta Cons) agree with this call for censorship?
