The Right take on higher education.

Jim Otteson Calls ’Em Like He Sees ’Em

Text

In today’s Pope Center piece, Professor Jim Otteson, who teaches economics and philosophy at Yeshiva University, writes about the state of higher education today and says that much of what is taught is “sheer nonsense.”

What you read is a slightly truncated version of a paper he gave at the Foundation for the Study of Spontaneous Orders colloquium last February. Too bad we don’t have video of his presentation.
