Clegg on the Alleged Benefits of Diversity

Text

Writing at SCOTUSBlog, Roger Clegg masterfully probes for any real substance in the endlessly repeated claim that when colleges engineer their student bodies to have more “diversity,” the result is “educational benefits” for some or all students.

It seems to me that this claim is on a par with the claim that if we just raise the minimum wage high enough, we would wipe out poverty. It sounds wonderful — until you stop and think it through.
