In today’s Pope Center piece, Jay Schalin writes about the recent National Association of Scholars compilation of 100 ideas on how to improve higher education. Read Jay’s overview, and then read the whole thing. Some of the ideas are sound and feasible, but a few — not so much. (Even in this era of Obamacare, I don’t think we can compel students to eat saltpeter.)
