A Canadian Professor on Women’s Studies

by George Leef

Here is an interesting story about a female professor who gave a talk at the University of Toronto in which she attacked women’s-studies programs as “intellectually incoherent and dishonest” and a jumble of “slogans rather than real thought.” Her talk was not well received by many of the listeners, to put it mildly. It takes nerve to criticize an “academic discipline” that amounts to little more than grievance mongering, knowing that many who have been drawn into it will react vehemently.
