Law School -- Not Just Oversold, But Fraudulently So

Major newspapers have been jumping on the bandwagon of angry law school graduate stories and the latest is this piece in the Los Angeles Times.

Have schools that made it sound as though getting a J.D. there was a sure-fire path to success committed fraud? Or should the students have done some due diligence and observed the old legal maxim, caveat emptor?
