An Example of Educational Enterpreneurship
In this week’s Pope Center Clarion Call, Prof. Tim Mosteller writes about his efforts to establish a new college dedicated to great books and liberal education.
I’m wholeheartedly in favor of ventures like this. Changing higher ed is only slightly less difficult than changing lead into gold. Offering students new options where their time and money won’t be wasted on dumbed-down and politicized courses taught indifferently by profs and grad students who mostly have other things on their minds is the way to go.
