Law School Accreditation -- Naughty or Nice?


In this week’s Clarion Call piece, Dean Lawrence Velvel of the Massachusetts School of Law argues that the American Bar Association’s accreditation rules drive up the cost of legal education without doing anything to improve quality.

As I have long maintained, this is an instance where educational requirements are used as a barrier to entry.
