Title IX Strikes Again

Clarion University announced yesterday it is cutting three men’s teams — indoor track, outdoor track and cross country — to comply with Title IX.  In September, you will recall, James Madison University announced it was dropping ten teams to comply with the law.  Clarion’s move makes the total number of teams sacrificed in 2006 for this insane notion of “gender equity” 26.  Twenty six teams eliminated for no good reason.  Hundreds of young athletes suddenly without futures in their sports because bureaucrats were bullied by feminists and our legislators don’t have the courage to fix it.  When will it end?
