Arizona Propositioned

A successful state ballot measure that has attracted little attention is Proposition 300 in Arizona, which prohibits students who are not citizens or legal residents from receiving in-state status for tuition purposes at state schools. It succeeded by a margin of over 70%. Arizona inclines accordingly in a direction contrary to California, which has adopted lower fees for non-citizen foreign residents.
