It’s Baaack!

The population bomb, that is. You have to hand it to good old Paul Ehrlich (who personally is a pleasant person); he exemplifies Churchill’s definition of a fanatic: someone who can’t change his mind and won’t change the subject. Though I had to check the calendar to see if I had missed Apirl Fool’s Day when I read this sentence: “The Population Bomb, ironically, was much too optimistic about the future.”

Where, oh where, do we even begin?
