Stop the Child Abuse

Text

I suspect that the children’s global-warming act, below, would be simply too much for many parents if they put together all of the pieces of the alarmist child abuse. As I have, come to think of it, in Red Hot Lies: How Global Warming Alarmists Use Threats Fraud and Deception to Keep You Misinformed, in a chapter called “Poisoning the Little Ones,” previously excerpted in amusing part here.

Now here’s some less amusing information from the same chapter, to think about as you watch for yourself what is being done in the schools:

Talk about nightmares

After having trotted out indoctrinated children as props at all manner of gatherings for more than a decade the UN had the temerity to announce its dog-and-pony show for the 2007 “Kyoto” talks with the claim, “For the first time — let’s hear what the world’s youth and children have to say about climate change and the impact it will have on their future.” [NB: Contained in an emailed announcement from the UNFCCC, December 11, 2007]

First time, eh? So, in addition to all of its other problems, the UN’s short-term memory is shot. Or else they take us all to be as trusting as the children they manipulate, at least until those children wake up as adults to discover how they’ve been used by the population and lifestyle axe-grinders.

As we have seen the alarmists acknowledge, all of these efforts are the bottom-up leg of Big Green’s campaign to impose its agenda, by creating what the Wall Street Journal has called “Inconvenient Youths: Eco-warrior kids [who] go after parents for ‘environmental offenses’.” And its impacts are serious, all right, if not necessarily all of the sort intended by the puppeteers, or else one that they decided constitutes acceptable losses and a cost of doing (harm against) business.

The alarmists’ practice of reflexively seeking to strike fear in kids’ hearts in order to push their ideological agenda – such as when the Soros-funded Center for American Progress blamed a tornado ripping through a Boy Scout camp on global warming, despite zero authority or reason to support such a claim – how can they pretend to be surprised, let alone distressed, at the outcomes?

We see impressionable youths suffer public breakdowns when “testifying” before cynical congressional panels about the horrors they are sure await them, and become so maddened by it all as to literally become clinical head cases. 2008 saw the first diagnosed case of “climate change delusion”. “Writing in the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry, Joshua Wolf and Robert Salo of our Royal Children’s Hospital say this delusion was a ‘previously unreported phenomenon’…‘A 17-year-old man was referred to the inpatient psychiatric unit at Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne with an eight-month history of depressed mood . . . [and] visions of apocalyptic events.’ ‘The patient had also developed the belief that, due to climate change, his own water consumption could lead within days to the deaths of millions of people through exhaustion of water supplies.’” Certainly in hindsight all of these consequences are entirely predictable.

Since the day those children you see on that school stage first learned to speak, the planet has steadily cooled. So what do they learn to incant? Mythology. These kids are props in abusive adults’ morality play reflecting a dystopic worldview unsupported by observations and existing only in computer models and their peevish minds.

Remember: one kid was even psych-committed this year, thanks to this consistent brainwashing with tales of ecological terror. That obviously fragile teen I cite as completely melting down and being egged on by activists and a congressional chairman should instead have been whisked away by her parents and comforted . . . and told the truth.

Previously, the state was considered to be charged with protecting children from abuse. Now they are active participants in inflicting it, all to satisfy the perverse obsessions of their Moonbattiest Generation teachers. This child abuse has to stop.
