For Better Weather, Elect Obama

A former Washington colleague of mine, columnist Dale McFeatters, used to laugh that Al Gore’s campaign bumper sticker should have read: “For Better Weather, Elect Gore in 2000.”

Here’s a line from the finale of Barack Obama’s speech Tuesday night:

“We will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment . . . when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.”

Today’s green candidates are making parody reality.
