Climate czar (or whatever she’s called) Carol Browner is leaving the White House:
Carol Browner, President Obama’s top environmental adviser, is leaving the administration in what looks like the latest tremor in the White House personnel shake-up, according to news reports.
The move may signal the end of White House hopes for a cap-and-trade system to restrict industrial emissions of greenhouse gases. Browner had also been mentioned as a possible deputy chief of staff, but that apparently won’t happen.
Browner told The Washington Post that there is “no back story — it was just time to go.”
Finally, some change I can believe in.
