Lights Back On . . . in the House
The lights are back on — in the House of Representatives, anyway. The bulb’s in Harry Reid’s court.
The House voted this morning to prohibit the use of funds to implement federal light-bulb standards — aka, the incandescent-bulb ban.
Alas, while sponsor Rep. Michael Burgess (R., Texas), requested a roll-call vote, leadership decided for a quickie voice vote this morning. Still, anti-bulb choice Democrats wil face the voter music next year for their votes to defeat bulb restoration earlier this week.
