Oh, please. 68,000 people died in the 2008 Sichuan earthquake, including thousands in state-built schools. That wasn’t a hint to the MSM that maybe — just maybe — the entire infrastructure miracle that Tom Friedman and his ilk would have us believe has occurred in China is nothing but smoke? Sure, the WiFi works on the train to the airport. A school in a earthquake zone? Not so much.
