The Federal Gov't is a passive and helpless bystander like the rest of us? It has no plans, no ideas, no contingencies, no regulations, no enforcement to avoid Man-Made Disasters! The Fed Gov't is clueless as to how to prevent a man-made disaster in the Gulf.
The Federal Gov't is virtually irrelevant and impotent to prevent man-made disasters in the Gulf.
However, the Federal Gov't is particulary skillful and competent to regulate, monitor, and control Man-Made Global Warming Apocalypse. The Federal Gov't expertise is in controlling the climate so that it won't change. The Federal Gov't is able to prevent the climate from changing, control the forces of nature, and prevent Man-Made Global Warming Catastrophe. Huh? Really?
