NFL Draft Do-Overs

Text

Over at ESPN, Rick Reilly goes through the 2006-2008 NFL player-selection meetings and redrafts the first round — an interesting (if highly subjective) exercise. So in the 2008 draft, for example, he’s got Giant running back Ahmad Bradshaw (whom the Giants drafted out of Marshall at No. 250) going at No. 12.

He then tallies the pick differentials — the total number of draft slots teams gained or lost, according to his assessment of the players’ present-day value — in order to rank each team’s performance, which you can see after the jump.
