In a previous post, I mentioned the possibility of the English FA introducing goal-line technology for the 2012-13 season. However, in order for it to be implemented, it has to be sanctioned by FIFA – which will decide on the issue in March, according to Richard Scudamore, chief executive of England’s Premier League. Or at least,that’s the hope — FIFA has delayed a decision on this question more than once.
