Here’s a picture of their under-construction facility.

It’s bordered below by Atlantic Avenue and diagonally by Flatbush Avenue, a sleepy little Brooklyn intersection.

I kid. It’s a madhouse most of the time, and that’s before the basketball crowd shows up (which should number in the hundreds — I kid, I kid).

Sure, there are ten subway lines and the LIRR across the street, but look how being sited near a major mass-transit hub has reduced traffic around Madison Square Garden on Knicks and Rangers game days.

Speaking of hockey: Can we trade the Islanders to New Jersey in exchange for the Devils? We’ll throw in Ellis Island . . .
