The young, pencil-moustached southpaw Derek Holland pitched 8 1/3 innings of awesomeness last night.

Catcher Mike Napoli, demoted to the eight-hole (Really, Wash? Really?), hit a three-run bomb in the sixth inning to break open what had been a nail-biter of a game.

With the series now tied at 2-2, game one starters Chris Carpenter and C. J. Wilson return to the mound tonight.
