Marlins Continue Their Offseason Spending Binge, Land Buehrle

Fast-working southpaw Mark Buehrle will wear a Miami uniform next season, according to Fox Sports’ Ken Rosenthal via MLB Trade Rumors. The deal is worth $58 million over four years.

Buehrle spent his first 12 big league seasons with the White Sox, amassing 161 victories, 2476 innings, and a 3.83 ERA. Last season he finished with a 13-9 record in 205 innings, striking out 109 batters while walking 45. He posted a 3.59 ERA, 4.14 xFIP, and 3.4 WAR.
