Weekend Recap

The San Antonio Spurs swept the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday. It’s difficult to see how anyone will beat the Spurs who have now won 18 straight games. Here is a fascinating breakdown of the Spurs’ incredibly efficient offense.

On Saturday, the Oklahoma City Thunder came from behind to beat the Lakers to take a three-to-one series lead. The Lakers now appear to be imploding based on the amount of finger-pointing that occurred following Game 4.

The Celtics and the 76ers still remain locked in their back-and-forth series. Kevin Garnett reverted to playing like his actual age over the weekend, leading to the Celtics’ defeat. It’s possible that Boston will eventually will themselves to victory, but the series remains too close to call.

LeBron James and Dwayne Wade took over late in Miami’s Game 4 victory. A possible reason for LeBron James’s resurgence? The Hunger Games. Now the next question is whether LeBron identifies with Katniss or Cato?
