More Paterson Scandal: Yankee-Ticket-Gate

Via New York Post:
The bad news doesn’t stop for Gov. David Paterson — he was just charged by the state’s Commission on Public Integrity with violating the gift ban under the state’s ethics laws when he got free tickets to game one of the 2009 World Series. He may face criminal charges in that case too. The CPI is referring the case to the Albany County DA and to Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, who is already probing allegations of misconduct by the governor and his aides. That goal is to see whether Paterson “or anyone else may have committed a crime or crimes by swearing falsely during the Commission’s interview of him and by causing a check to be back-dated.”

Bye bye Governor. - Greg Pollowitz
