Police Arrived at Aurora Theater in 90 Seconds

Via Denver Post:
After receiving the 911 calls about the Aurora theater shootings, the first law enforcement officers were on the scene within 90 seconds. And within minutes, 25 officers flooded the area to apprehend the alleged shooter and help the 59 people wounded in the attack. Some officers drove the injured to hospitals in their squad cars. An audio recording of police scanner traffic in the minutes after the shootings portrays a calm dispatcher at the epicenter of a chaotic scene who displayed an admirable level of professionalism. . .

We'll hear more about this in the coming days, but from what I can gather it looks like the police stormed the theater not knowing how many gunmen or the exact nature of the threat. That bravery needs to be commended. - Greg Pollowitz
