According to Jarrod Agen, communications director for the Sharron Angle campaign, she has raised $2.8 million in online donations since the primary election on June 8.
“This fundraising success includes donations from email appeals, banner ads, microsites and Facebook advertising,” Agen told BATTLE ‘10 in a brief afternoon interview.
“We have had over 32,000 individuals who have contributed to that $2.8 million,” he added. “Forty-two percent of our donors have given $25 or less, and 67% of our donors have given $100 or less.”
“We are overjoyed with the success of online support, and it’s a perfect example of how a grassroots movement can compete against Washington D.C.’s special interests,” he said.
