Jim Geraghty over at The Campaign Spot penned a piece entitled “The Strategic Angle” on the GOP nominee’s plan to beat Harry Reid. The proposed path to victory includes about $575,000 in television advertising this month and a commitment to hit Reid head-on right now rather than in October as would be customary:
Normally, an advertising onslaught such as this one would be well-suited to the final weeks of a campaign — and a bit much for the dog days of August. But within Angle’s team, there is a sense that this late-summer period will be crucial, even decisive.
