A spokesman for the Democratic Socialists of America tells Battle ‘10 that there’s “no truth to any of [the accusations that Mary Jo Kilroy is a member.]” “This happens in every election cycle,” the spokesman said. “People claim that members of the progressive caucus are members of ours, and it’s just not true.”
Evidently the vast right-wing conspiracy can forge documents, then, because Kilroy was billed as a member in the early 90′s when she ran for school board. It’s not clear whether she still is a socialist.
