Meek Now Leads Greene in Polls

Two new polls show Kendrick Meek has regained ground on Democratic primary opponent Jeff Greene. The first shows Meek up by four points: “In the Democratic Senate primary, the Mason-Dixon poll shows U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek ahead of Palm Beach billionaire Greene by a 33-to-29 percent margin.”

The second, commissioned by Meek’s campaign, shows him up by one: “A poll just completed for Kendrick’s campaign by the Feldman Group reveals that Kendrick is now in a statistical dead heat with his opponent, billionaire Jeff Greene. Among all likely primary voters, Kendrick has the support of 36 percent while Greene has 35 percent support. Former Miami Mayor Maurice Ferre wins 8 percent with 20 percent of voters undecided.”
