Rasmussen: Buck Leads Bennet 47-44

Ken Buck leads Sen. Michael Bennet, 47 to 44 percent, according to Rasmussen Reports. The race has tightened a bit from the last poll that showed Buck with a 46 to 41 lead. Bennet has never led in Rasmussen’s head-to-head matchup against Buck.

When Rasmussen added “leaners” to the race, Buck still led, 49 to 45 percent. Buck’s favorability rating stands at 50 to 44 percent, while Bennet comes in at 47-49.

Fifty-three percent of those surveyed disapprove of President Barack Obama’s job performance. Economic issues dominated the interest of those surveyed, with 50 percent of those surveyed concerned about jobs and economic growth.

**Update–from Buck spokesman Owen Loftus to BATTLE ‘10: “This poll is good news for the Buck campaign.  Despite an onslaught of dishonest attacks from Michael Bennet and the Democrats, Ken is still polling strong.”
