Pat Toomey has released a new ad in Pennsylvania hitting Joe Sestak for supporting “a stimulus that gave us record debt without creating jobs.” Here’s the ad:
The Sestak crowd will counter with the usual “things would be worse without the stimulus” assertion. Just yesterday he spoke of having to “control the damage” done under President Bush as an excuse for his policies.
If this “just trust us!” mentality continues to dominate Sestak’s campaign, his vision will be a tough pill for many Pennsylvanians to swallow, despite his one-man, imaginary efforts to “balance the budget”.
