In the latest video making its way around the web (and Rubio campaign material) Gov. Charlie Crist addresses questions about where he would caucus if elected as an independent to the U.S. Senate.
“I get asked these inside baseball questions all the time,” Crist says. “‘Who you gonna caucus with?’ Who cares!”
Surely it’s in his best interest to hedge, since coming out for one side would only serve to alienate one segment of his supporters and provide ammo to his competitors. But asking Crist which camp he would call home, and wondering whether he would increase a likely Democratic majority or diminish it, is not an “inside baseball question.”
“Who cares?” Probably most of Florida’s approximately 11 million registered voters.
