‘Cheddarbomb’ Bombed

It’s safe to say that only two conclusions are possible at this point: 1) Russ Feingold is exhibiting the most impressive display of campaign modesty of all time by not releasing the results from yesterday’s “Cheddarbomb” money blitz, or 2) the Cheddarbomb, well, bombed. Take your pick. Any mention of the words “cheddar,” “bomb,” or any combination thereof has been removed from Feingold’s campaign website. They are currently inviting supporters to “Get Fired Up For Feingold!” at “House Parties For Russ!” to be held simultaneously throughout the state next Tuesday. Whoever is writing these taglines, you get the feeling that their heart’s just not in it, probably because they’re too busy looking for a new day job, something starting the first week of November (or so).
