•Ken Buck joins other “climate change skeptics” as part of the 2010 class of Republican Senate candidates.

•Sen. Michael Bennet rallied supporters before the second debate, calling for Democratic unity and working against Washington partisanship:

•The National Republican Congressional Committee has launched “Democrat Tax Tracker,” with Reps. Betsy Markey (CO-4), John Salazar (CO-3), and Ed Perlmutter (CO-7) listed among those Democratic House members of particular interest.

•Colorado’s ability to comply with the Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment Act has reached a conclusion:

The Justice Department and Colorado have agreed that absentee ballots for the November election will be sent to military service members overseas by Saturday.

Rich Cooldige [sic] of the secretary of state’s office says the state and the Justice Department signed the agreement Friday.

Colorado’s Secretary of State, Bernie Buescher, had applied for a MOVE Act waiver, arguing that Colorado’s ability to comply with the Act’s requirements would be burdensome to the state’s county clerks. The waiver was denied in August.

•Tom Tancredo suffered minor injuries when his motorcycle was clipped by a car over the weekend.
