The oddest thing about today’s court ruling deeming Florida’s gay adoption ban unconstitutional was Gov. Charlie Crist’s reaction. His administration has been fighting the lawsuit for years, but in light of his evolution on the issue, Crist called the state’s loss “great.” Now the question is whether the state will, in light of the governor’s apparent zeal for the opposition, appeal to the Florida Supreme Court.
