Heck Goes on Offense Against Titus in NV-3

Things are heating up in Nevada’s congressional nail-biter between Republican Joe Heck and incumbent Democrat Dina Titus. This Heck campaign ad features recent media analysis of a hit ad and says Titus and her surrogates are “lying” about his record:

The attacks by both the Titus and AFSCME ads drove Heck’s negatives up and earned them a few poll points while his campaign was still working on increasing name recognition in the district.

As of last week, Titus led Heck by 47 to 43 percent, according to a poll conducted by Mason-Dixon for the Las Vegas Review Journal/8NewsNow. Heck’s unfavorables had increased from 16 to 31 percent between mid-August and the early September polls.
